Shannon Sanford joined the United Way of Northwest Alabama in March 2021. She is currently a Call Specialist for 211 and answers phone calls throughout the Northwest Alabama region along with other areas in Alabama. Her passion is to increase awareness of the 211 program and to connect people with essential resources in the area.
She has over 30 years of administration and customer service experience and is a native of NW Alabama. She loves spending time with her family (especially her mom, siblings, and her two adorable nephews); spoiling her cat named Lucy; reading and researching current events; shopping; and enjoying the change of seasons.
