The United Way of Northwest Alabama’s Dress for Success Clothing Closet is a referral-based program that provides free, gently used professional attire to help individuals feel confident and prepared for important life opportunities. Clothing is available for job interviews, employment, job training, and other situations that support stability and self-sufficiency.
Participants are referred through the 211 system and scheduled for a private appointment in a boutique-style setting, where they can select clothing that fits their needs with assistance from trained volunteers.
Our selection includes business suits, dress shirts, slacks, skirts, shoes, and restaurant work uniforms—all generously donated by community members to support local job seekers and working families.

We are currently seeking donations of professional attire, scrubs, dress shoes, restaurant work uniforms, and other workplace clothing to help support local job seekers and working families. We are also in need of hangers (regular and pants) and storage bins with lids.
- Donations are accepted Tuesday & Wednesday's from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
