Understanding Credit

United Way of Northwest Alabama is partnering with Listerhill Credit Union to host a Financial Wellness Class entitled, "Understanding Credit" on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

This is a beginner course intended for those interested in learning more about personal finances and credit scores. The class will include the following topics:

• Credit Scores and Credit Reports
• What is in a Credit Report
• Checking Your Credit Report
• What Effects Your Credit Score
• Where Do I Start?
• How to Improve and Protect your Credit

This class is free to community members, but those who wish to attend must register online or by calling 256-764-5892 as space is limited.

Light refreshments will be provided to attendees.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 5:30 pm at United Way of Northwest Alabama at 205 W College Street, Florence, AL 35630.
