2024 Day of Caring Projects

Our favorite event of the year is BACK! United Way of Northwest Alabama's Annual Day of Caring will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024. 

Some of the projects will take a couple of hours, while others will take a full day to complete. Our area's nonprofit organizations do so much for our communities and this is an opportunity to give back to them and to say, "thank you".

Volunteer on your own, volunteer with a group of friends, or volunteer with a group of your work colleagues as a rewarding team-building experience.

Day of Caring Projects
Cramer Children's Center has requested 4 volunteers to come and weed flower beds and trim shrubs. Volunteers will need to provide their own gardening equipment. Please spray Roundup on weeds that are growing through concrete. Roundup will be provided. Mulch will be supplied by Cramer Children's Center, but it needs to be picked up by a volunteer.
