Nonprofit Organization Project Application 

It is time to gear up for our Annual Day of Caring! This a wonderful way to bring our community together to help local nonprofit agencies with projects they need completed.

This form is for ANY local nonprofit agency within our service area of Colbert, Lauderdale, Franklin, and Marion Counties to submit a potential project to be completed by a team of volunteers. It is not a guarantee that your project will be chosen, but we will do our absolute best to find volunteers to help!

Here are a couple of pointers to help make this day a success:

• Appoint one person to be the liaison between your organization and United Way of Northwest Alabama. This person will be the Agency Planning Coordinator.
• Make sure your project can be completed in one day
• Materials must be provided to the volunteers to complete the project
• Projects must benefit a 501(c)(3) agency
• Projects must be submitted by Tuesday, August 27, 2024
• Be certain you and your volunteers sign a media release

• Carpentry

B. Outdoor Activities

• Gardening
• Painting 
• Repairing

C. Food/Clothing Drives

• Sorting
• Cleaning
• Organizing
• Collecting

D. Meals

• Preparation
• Serving
• Delivering

E. Administration 

• Typing
• Filing
• Clean-Up
