2026–2027 Grant Cycle
United Way of Northwest Alabama is now accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) from eligible health and human service nonprofits for the 2026–2027 funding cycle.
Who May Apply
Nonprofit organizations that:

Hold 501(c)(3) status
-
Serve residents in Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, and Marion Counties
Both new and previously funded organizations are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Organizations interested in being considered for funding must first submit a Letter of Intent. Selected agencies will be invited to complete a full application.
Important Dates

Letter of Intent Deadline: Wednesday, February 4, 2026

Mandatory Applicant Training: Date to be announced (required for agencies invited to submit a full application)
