United Way of Northwest Alabama Days of Action 2015

Day of Action

In partnership with Community Action Agency of Northwest Alabama, United Way of Northwest Alabama is kicked off the annual Day of Action with a

Fan Drive

for residents of Lauderdale, Colbert, and
Franklin counties.

The drive benefitted those who are elderly, handicapped, and families with small children who may find themselves without a proper cooling system to endure the intense heat of summer.  Nearly 200 families were assisted this year thanks to your generosity!

United Way of Northwest Alabama coordinates a Day of Action every year around June 21st and encourages individuals and organizations to unite by volunteering to help improve the conditions of their community.  United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community to create a lasting change.  For any health or human service need, please call United Way's 211 Information and Referral hotline.  This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If any additional information is needed please feel free to contact United Way at 256 764 5892.
